John Kiernan, Ph.D.

Dr. Kiernan is a clinical psychologist practicing with Group Health Cooperative in Spokane Washington. He works primarily with children and adolescents with mental health and developmental disorders, providing psychological assessment, treatment, and consultation. He is a graduate of University of California at Los Angeles (BS, Psychology), Virginia Commonwealth University (Ph.D., Clinical Psychology), and Oregon Health and Science University (Internship, Medical Psychology). He had training while at UCLA with Ivaar Lovaas’ Autism Project. In graduate school and after, he published articles, several of which involved work with developmental disabilities. More recently, he has been a trainer in the University of Washington’s MEDEX Northwest Physician Assistant Training Program, and provides professional and community presentations.
